The USGS Style A Staff Gauge provides a quick and easy visual means of determining water level. Designed for high accuracy and readability, each style staff gauge is coated in a special porcelain enamel to protect from rust, corrosion and discoloration. Each instrument is constructed of iron allowing it to last in extreme conditions and can be easily fastened to walls, piers, and other structures.

Solinst recently announced the newest addition to its Levelogger series: the Levelogger Edge, a water level and temperature sensor with an ‘edge’ over previous models.
The stainless steel Levelogger Edge features a Hastelloy pressure sensor and titanium based PVD coating for increased corrosion resistance. This allows for more stable and reliable readings in extreme pressure and temperature conditions, which can range from -50 to 50⁰ C. With a wider temperature compensated pressure range and improved thermal response time, the Edge can withstand over two times the normal pressure without causing any damage to the logger.
