NexSens releases two new monitoring technologies

NexSens — one of the fastest-growing environmental equipment suppliers — has recently introduced two new products.

TS110 Temperature String

The TS110 is a single-cable, multi-point, temperature-monitoring system with as many as 120 sensors. The device can measure temperatures at selected points to a depth of 200 meters in fresh, brackish, or seawater, with a read time of 60 seconds.

The TS110 works in tandem with the NexSens iSIC datalogger and iChart software to create precise (+/- 0.1° C) data for use in environmental applications. Data is stored in a bottom-deployed datalogger for later retrieval or transmitted to a base via a surface buoy with telemetry capabilities for real-time data monitoring.

The TS110 is used by the US Army Corps of Engineers at Stonewall Jackson Reservoir in West Virginia, the Kinzua Reservoir in Pennsylvania, and by NOAA’s Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory in Western Lake Erie.

Online Data Center

NexSens has also released WQData, which is an online interface for viewing environmental data collected using the popular monitoring software, iChart. The software works with industry-leading sensors and data loggers.

iChart can create a data-rich website and update it at regular intervals. Data is displayed in table, statistical, and graph formats, or downloaded for further analysis.
